Lucknow Kanpur NH-27 PBMC Project

Project Overview

G.S. Express Ltd. is associated with the improvement, strengthening and maintenance work of the Lucknow-Kanpur section of NH-27, formerly known as NH-25, in the state of Uttar Pradesh under the Performance Based Maintenance Contract PBMC framework.

The project covers the highway corridor from Km 27+700 to Km 75+500 and focuses on improving riding quality, road safety, pavement performance, drainage efficiency and overall highway serviceability for long-term traffic operations.

The scope of work includes pavement strengthening, bituminous overlay, surface correction, routine and periodic maintenance, shoulder improvement, drainage cleaning and repair, road markings, signage, safety furniture, median maintenance, vegetation control and corridor asset upkeep.

Under the PBMC model, the project emphasizes performance-based outcomes, ensuring that the highway remains safe, durable, well-maintained and suitable for continuous movement of passenger, commercial and logistics traffic between Lucknow and Kanpur.
